Why Aveo chose it
The cofactors are the whole point.
Calcium on its own is the most common mineral supplement in the world and the least interesting. What decides whether calcium is useful is everything around it — the phosphorus it pairs with, the vitamin D that helps it absorb, the K2 and magnesium, and the vitamin C that builds the collagen it sits in. This formula is designed around the relationships, not the headline number.

Your enamel is a crystal with a name.
Enamel is roughly 97 % hydroxyapatite — Ca₁₀(PO₄)₆(OH)₂ — a calcium phosphate crystal, which is to say a specific arrangement of calcium and phosphorus in a ratio of about two to one by mass. Bone mineral is the same crystal, in a softer matrix.
That fact is the whole reason this product exists. Rather than supplying a large dose of calcium and hoping, the Complex supplies calcium and phosphorus together at the ratio the crystal itself uses, from sources permitted under Annex II of the EU food supplements directive: calcium and sodium salts of orthophosphoric acid.
And the hydroxyapatite is not missing from the Aveo range — it is simply in the right product. EU law does not permit it in a capsule, but it does permit it in toothpaste, where it works on the enamel surface directly. That is the Enamel Ritual, and the two are designed to be used together.

Under EU rules a nutrient must reach 15 % of its reference intake per daily portion before a product may say anything about it. Every nutrient here clears that threshold, which is why this page needs no invented claims.

Ask the Aveo teamWhy is there no MCHA or hydroxyapatite in this?
Because it would be illegal. Only the mineral forms listed in Annex II of Directive 2002/46/EC may be used to manufacture EU food supplements, and hydroxyapatite, microcrystalline hydroxyapatite and bone meal are not among them. Many products sold online ignore this. We would rather tell you, and put the hydroxyapatite in the toothpaste, where it is permitted and where the clinical evidence for it exists.
How much do I take?
Two capsules daily with food. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose.
Can I take this with Aveo Cellular NR?
Yes — the two are designed to be stacked. Cellular NR is deliberately kept low in magnesium so that the combined supplemental magnesium of both products stays within recommended limits.
Why not a much higher dose?
Because more is not better, and in the case of zinc it is actively harmful. Zinc’s tolerable upper intake level is 25 mg a day, and sustained high intakes cause copper deficiency. We formulate at 10 mg with copper alongside it.
Is it vegan?
